Chapter 15 in John tells how we are the branches and He is the Vine, without Him, we can do NOTHING. This title is a reminder to me that everything; the good, the bad, and the ugly, is from Him. This title is to remind me of what I truly deserve and be thankful to Him who gave Himself, revealed Himself, bestowed mercy and grace, that I could know Him and have eternal life(John 14:6, Romans 10:9-11, 2 Corinthians 5:15, John 5:24). Wow!
Yes, minus the electric blue spandex running pants that "Harry" sports in a speed-walking scene in the movie "When Harry Met Sally", that's me....bent elbows and everything...although I do hope my hips don't rock as much as his did because that CAN'T be good for anyone's back... (I know that's random, but I remember thinking how...well...dorky he looked speedwalking...oh how the proud must fall :) )
