Chapter 15 in John tells how we are the branches and He is the Vine, without Him, we can do NOTHING. This title is a reminder to me that everything; the good, the bad, and the ugly, is from Him. This title is to remind me of what I truly deserve and be thankful to Him who gave Himself, revealed Himself, bestowed mercy and grace, that I could know Him and have eternal life(John 14:6, Romans 10:9-11, 2 Corinthians 5:15, John 5:24). Wow!
I forgot to post these pictures from last Sunday. As I mentioned in my last blog, my friends, Brian and Colette, are moving to Bangalore, India. We had a going away party for them after church on Sunday at Ed and Asha's house...where Asha made a ton of amazing Indian food. And presented Colette with a gift to help her "fit in" when she arrives. Good food, good times...
