Chapter 15 in John tells how we are the branches and He is the Vine, without Him, we can do NOTHING. This title is a reminder to me that everything; the good, the bad, and the ugly, is from Him. This title is to remind me of what I truly deserve and be thankful to Him who gave Himself, revealed Himself, bestowed mercy and grace, that I could know Him and have eternal life(John 14:6, Romans 10:9-11, 2 Corinthians 5:15, John 5:24). Wow!
A friend of mine headed back into Clear Lake today and tried to go to my apartment to see what the damage was. Officials aren't letting anyone into Seabrook at this time, so I will continue to wait patiently. Here's a picture of some of the debris near my place. My apartment is just off on the left hand side of this picture (on the shore).
